Pilot Checkout Guidelines

1. Must be tested by FARM qualified instructor.
2. Must hold a current AMA license and be a club member in good standing.
3. Must know club and AMA safety rules.
4. Must know all aircraft control surfaces and their functions.
5. Must know all four forces acting on an aircraft.
6. Must be able to demonstrate pit safety and preflight inspection procedures.
7. Must be able to perform satisfactory takeoff and climbout.
8. Must be able to execute a procedural turn.
9. Must be able to execute steady level flight.
10. Must be able to execute an inside loop.
11. Must be able to fly a flat (horizontal) figure eight.
12. Must be able to execute a horizontal roll.
13. Must be able to execute an Immelmann turn.
14. Must be able to demonstrate stall entry and recovery.
15. Must be able to land satisfactorily on the runway.
16. Must be able to perform post flight shutdown.
